Conclusion

After the students have completed this lesson they will have not only learned about another culture but also they will have taken a in-depth look into the philosophy that drives the most rapidly expanding nation on earth to this day. Students will be able to connect their knowledge with experience as a result of the plan they drew up. Students should also be able to connect Confucianism with different architectural elements. Upon viewing a picture of traditional architecture students should be able to name elements and there uses. Most importantly students should be able to explain how and why Confucianism became as popular as it did, and what its effects where on Chinese architecture.
